✨ Pre-Care (Before Your Peel)

To ensure your skin is ready and to minimize sensitivity, please follow these guidelines:

  • Discontinue exfoliants (scrubs, AHA/BHA products, retinol, tretinoin) at least 3–5 days before treatment.

  • Avoid waxing, laser, or depilatory creams for at least 1 week before.

  • No prolonged sun exposure or tanning for at least 1 week before your peel.

  • Hydrate your skin with a gentle moisturizer leading up to your appointment.

  • Let your esthetician know if you are on any prescribed skincare (acne medication, retinoids, or antibiotics).

  • Do not book if you have active cold sores, open lesions, or sunburn.

🌸 Post-Care (After Your Peel)

Your skin will be more sensitive as it heals. Please follow these guidelines for optimal results:

✅ What To Do

  • Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate with a gentle, nourishing moisturizer to help barrier recovery.

  • SPF is non-negotiable — use broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily and reapply when outdoors.

  • Use gentle cleansers — no scrubs or foaming cleansers, only mild, sulfate-free products.

  • Cool compresses may be used if you feel warmth or mild irritation.

  • Follow-up products: Use any homecare recommended by your esthetician to enhance results.

🚫 What To Avoid (for 5–7 days minimum, or until fully healed)

  • No exfoliating products (AHA, BHA, retinol, scrubs).

  • Avoid heavy sweating, saunas, and hot yoga for 24–48 hours.

  • Skip waxing, threading, or hair removal in treated areas.

  • Do not pick, peel, or scratch flaking skin — let it shed naturally.

  • Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds.

  • Hold off on facials, microdermabrasion, or other peels until advised by your esthetician.

✨ Pro Tip: A series of peels (spaced every 2–4 weeks) offers the best results for improving skin tone, texture, fine lines, and breakouts.
